   Boy am I glad not to be a politician. We criticize them for being blown by the winds and only doing what it takes to get re-elected. And then we criticize them for actually saying, “I’m going to do what I think is best for the people who elected me, even if they don’t think it is.” There’s no way to win in that scenario.

   I vote for someone because I think they have the judgment to make good decisions when they know lots of information that I don’t know. I certainly don’t vote for them because I think they’ll do exactly what I say. That’s a dangerous road to go down unless we cultivate a MUCH more informed populace than we currently have.
